Overlooking Mison village, The Romeyères plateau is covered with lavender which can really be appreciated during summer. This family walk offers a huge panoramic view on the Ecrins and Dévoluy summits. It also allows you to discover Mison old village in which the castle, Ste Baume chapel and its cemetery are located.


Description

  1. From the parking lot, go up on the plateau by the tarred road (called “montée des Romeyères”). Continue alongside the lavender fields on a track leading to the public forest of Mison – with a lot of conifers.
  2. Go on the track which gradually becomes a slope heading to Mison. The track progressively becomes a path.
  3. At the village, go straight to the fountain. From the fountain, go up to the street on your right leading to the parking lot.

Access and parking

From Laragne (7 km) take the departmental road D 1075 and at the south take the departmental road D 4075 towards Mison.
